The Rob Gotlin Community Leadership Grant
The Rob Gotlin Community Leadership Award supports innovative projects that reduce physical or environmental barriers for individuals with disabilities. Funding is awarded for projects aimed at advancing accessibility and inclusivity within the community, promoting physical and emotional wellness, and optimizing access to healthcare.
The purpose of this award is to fund projects conceived by PM&R residents (PGY2-4) and/or fellows that improve physical or environmental barriers for individuals with disabilities. The grant will consider projects aimed at advancing accessibility within the community, promoting physical and emotional wellness, and optimizing access to healthcare. Proposals are encouraged to consider the following:
- Adaptive sports and recreational programs
- Support groups
- Community outreach programs
- Lifestyle, nutritional, or exercise programs
- ADA approved constructs
- Assistive devices
