Distinguished Fellows
Distinguished Fellowship in the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (FAOCPMR-D) is an honor and is conferred on those have demonstrated sustained and highly recognized contributions to AOCPMR on a national, state, and local level along with assisting in the advancement of osteopathic physiatry and the osteopathic profession through leadership in clinical, educational, administrative and public service activities as well as other significant scholarly activities.
This new designation was approved by the Executive Council of the College in 2011 and refined by the Conclave of Fellows during the latter part of 2013. New Distinguished Fellows receive an engraved plaque and medallion to commemorate the conveyance of the honor. Candidates may apply using this application form and must be endorsed by a current Distinguished Fellow.
