Students, Get Involved in PM&R Research Today!!
Set yourself apart. Get involved in PM&R research today.
Benefits:
- Get a closer look at the inner workings of rehab medicine
- Develop skills necessary for academic physiatrists
- Work with practitioners and leaders in the field
- Shape the way that PM&R benefits patients and practitioners
How it works:
- Students may submit their information for a project based on the specific instructions for that project, most often emailing the researcher pertinent information, but sometimes completing an application or form.
- Your application will be reviewed by the researcher specific to that project. The AOCPMR Student Council will not be reviewing application, but rather communicating with the researcher, based on the application deadline, who he/she has selected, and overseeing the program. For projects within the AOCPMR, the AOCPMR Student Council will communicate with the researcher and mentor for feedback and progress. For projects outside the AOCPMR, the Student Council will communicate with the student to learn of the progress.
- If a researcher selects your application, you’ll be notified by the researcher. If you have any questions, you can contact the researcher or the AOCPMR Student Council. If a project notification has passed and you have not heard whether you have been selected, please feel free to contact the AOCPMR Student Council so we can follow-up on your behalf.
