Membership Categories
Full Physician Membership $295.00
A graduate of an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited college of osteopathic medicine and an AOA approved-accredited residency in PM&R and is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) by the AOA, upon the recommendation of the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOBPMR). Full members may hold office within the College, have voting privileges in the affairs of the College, be privileged to participate in scientific and educational programs and may serve as member and/or chairperson of committees.
Associate Physician Membership $275.00
A graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine and an AOA approved-accredited residency in PM&R but does not meet criteria for Full Membership (ex. is not board certified in PM&R by theAOA). Associate members may neither hold office nor vote in the affairs of the College. They shall have voice and be privileged to participate in scientific and education programs. Associate members may participate on committee but not chair them (exception: Associate member representative to Executive Council does hold office and may vote in affairs of the College.)
Affiliate/Non-Physician Member $275.00
A professional who has a keen interest in PM&R including but not limited to: DOs who did not graduate from an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine and/or an AOA approved-accredited residency in PM&R, MDs, DCs, PhDs, PAs, ATCs and PTs. Affiliate members may neither hold office nor vote in the affairs of the College. They shall have voice and be privileged to participate in scientific and educational programs. They may participate on committees but not chair them (exception: Affiliate member to Executive Council does hold office and may vote in affairs of the College.)
In-Training Member (Intern/Resident/Fellow) $50 for the full duration of your training program!
A graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine who is currently participating in an AOA approved internship year, AOA approved and accredited residency program in PM&R or AOA approved and accredited fellowship program. Resident members may neither hold office nor vote in the affairs of the College. They shall have voice and be privileged to participate in scientific and educational programs. They may participate on committees but not chair them (exception: Resident representative to Executive Council does hold office and may vote in affairs of the College.) All In-Training memberships expire on September 30th of the last year of your program. Your account will remain on file at aocpmr.org but you must purchase a physician membership to maintain AOCPMR membership. The fee for Fellow members is not included with residency membership fee; a $50 fee applies for new fellows for the duration of the fellowship. Following your fellowship, your account will remain on file at aocpmr.org but you must purchase a physician membership to maintain AOCPMR membership.
Medical Student Member $35 for 4 years- lasts all the way to internship!

We frequently offer opportunities for article submission and provide an avenue for your investigational and didactic work to be published. Our quarterly newsletter keeps members abreast of all that is going on in and around Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation including sections dedicated to Student and Resident Members.
Our state of the art website (aocpmr.org) serves as the information highway for osteopathic PMR-related updates, information and communication. Our site is continually updated with timely and pertinent information. We relay and comment upon related government issues including health care reform, policy updates and implementation. Our policy is one which welcomes and encourages membership involvement on committees and projects.
