Q: What first attracted you to Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation?
A: I was drafted by the US Army during the Vietnam war, at the end of my internship. There were two residency openings available, I chose PM&R (and never regretted it!)

Q: Do you practice a specific specialty?
A: I practice medical-legal occupational medicine, non-surgical orthopedics and pain management.

Q: Why did you join AOCPMR?
A: To support what was then a tiny group of DO physiatrists who were trying to grow and move into the mainstream.

Q: What do you love about belonging to AOCPMR?
A: Fellowship, camaraderie, shared experience and the opportunity to receive very relevant information and continuing education slanted not to the ivory tower but to the “real world.”

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I am passionate about photography and electronics. When I find any free time, I really enjoy having the chance to go on a photo shoot or fix/build computers, cars, anything mechanical.
