Q: What first attracted you to Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation?
A:  I was always interested in OMM, beginning the day I entered medical school.  I wanted to become the most well-rounded musculoskeletal expert I could be, and for me PM&R was the right field to best accomplish that goal.

Q: Do you practice a specific specialty?
A:  I would consider myself a musculoskeletal physician.  My practice encompasses general physiatry, pain management (both pharmacologic and injection-based), spasticity management, acupuncture, and of course, osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Q: Why did you join AOCPMR?
A:  I think it’s important for physicians to belong to their specialty colleges.  This organization is our mouthpiece to the rest of the medical and non-medical communities.

Q: What do you love about belonging to AOCPMR?
A:  I love being able to help contribute and to shape my profession.  Physiatry is such a dynamic field with a myriad of possibilities.  Where we go as a specialty is truly up to us!

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A:  I’m an avid musician, and I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and children.  I also play golf on a very rare occasion, although I typically pay the least amount of money per stroke of anybody on the course.
